Customer Rating: Summary: Great for gadget lovers! Comment: I recieved this watch 3 days ago and absolutely love it. Its a little bulky, but otherwise packed with features, and very usable. There were some incorrect information in the details, it did not come with an extra battery, it does support larger MicroSD cards (I have tested with 6gb). It does support 850Mhz band making it QUAD BAND. The screen is very bright and very sharp, color is vivid. The touch screen is very usable, even when using your fingernail.
The band is a mix of metal and plastic, the band was too large for my wrist out of the box, but after pounding on the pins, I was able to remove a link to make it fit better. The stylus holder built into the band is very loose and if you wear the watch on your left wrist the opening is at the bottom, so the stylus falls out. I turned the band so that the opening is at the top and put a light layer of superglue on the stylus to add a texture that holds it in place, it is nice and secured now, yet easy to remove when needed.
The software exceeded my expectations for a Chinese import. The English is nearly perfect and although the layout seems a little awkward, it is very usable and packed with features.
I am a geek at heart, so the bulk of the watch does not bother me at all, I have worn Fossil PalmWatch and its only slightly larger than that watch.
I live in a rural area with no cell service, so I dont use the cellular feature on a daily basis, but I do have a T-Mobile SIM in it right now and have made calls with the included stereo headset as well as speaker phone. The headset call was perfect, just like any other phone. The speakerphone was disappointing. It could have been a low signal issue, but the speaker phone cut out a lot, however I did leave a voicemail to my mother and she claims that it was crystal clear on her end.
Over all, with a little modification of the band and stylus, this watch is more than I could ever hope for and membate shipped it to me quickly and was quick to offer a refund because of the missed promise of the second battery. They would have to pry it from my cold dead hands to get it back now. ;)
In addition, mine came with a 1GB MicroSD, instead of the 256MB listed here. I have seen this watch cheaper in google searches, mostly Chinese importers, even though I have had good experiences with importing, I ran a company that imported small pocket computers from Japan a long time ago, but giving my credit card to paypal is absolutely where I draw the line, with a history of paypal ripping me off and stealing money from my bank account, but thats another review. ;) You can not beat the customer service and security of purchasing items through Amazon, every experience with Amazon has been exceptional.
