Summary: It's about time!
Comment: I watched this movie once when it first came out on video. I knew it was a cheese fest back then, but the movie doesn't take itself too serious. I consider it a great fun ride. A far as the quality of the dvd, I played it on my upconverted blu ray player and it looked quite nice.

Finally a dvd version of SUNDOWN from director Anthony Hickox, one of the true master of horror.
Well, horror isn't quite the theme of SUNDOWN, you don't get scared watching this movie, but you get entertained.
It is no holllywoodian movie, the pace is slow, but it's a well written movie with excellent direction, great actors and a good story including love triangle, a vampire civil war, a girl who's got visions, ans so long.
Just good old fashioned entertainment !!
And for the fans out there what a shock to finally see those fine coulors and to enjoy the widescreen.
Enjoy and then try on his Waxwork's flicks, they're really worth watching.

Comment: This film could have used more Bruce Campbell. The King of B-Movies has little screen time, and his character could have been used so much better. That being said the film is still a fun flick for Vampire fans.

Summary: Bite Me
Comment: Go into this film wanting to watch a comedy vampire film, and you'll be a happy camper. Don't expect sophisticated comedy, but the good old situational type and I think you'll be pleased and enjoy watching it over and over. I loved this film years ago when it graced VHS, so I was very happy to see it appear on a cleaner picture digital!

Summary: Hilarious. Silly. And a dang fine vampire comedy.
Comment: Well as the description pointed out, the vampires are living a boring and sedentary life while their local brainiacs to to better the artificial blood they live on. Sunscreen 5 Million helps them hang out in the daylight so nobody will be suspicious at a deserted town.
Shame on the character cast here for not mentioning veteran actor John Ireland. Been waiting years for this DVD.
