Summary: Definitely a preface to what's to come
Comment: Slum village was good, and when dilla left Elzhi was a nice replacement in the group. He shined in the group and has especially shined in his solo career. This album has shown some lyrical growth from his time with the group and has created a dope release. The beats are good but what really stands out is the lyrics. The delivery and the creative word play used throughout the album kept me going from track to track. This is easily one of the better lyrical albums of the year. Can't wait for another release to be dropped by Elzhi.

Comment: Better get on the Detroit Express 'cause they're taking over...and it's about time.To all you "Weezy is the best" fans will have to bow down when you finish listening to this cd.

Comment: Don't got time for a long review. If you're thinking of getting this, you know what the kid is capable of. He goes way hard here. The guests go way hard here. It's really a no-brainer. A few garbage tracks take away one star.

Comment: damn, i havent heard someone spit so nice from beginning to end of an album in a long time. this dude is hungry and rightfully so! i dont understand why people are stuck on lil wayne when people like elzhi get no love... this album is amazing you wont be disapointed!!

Comment: The only people in Detroit I really like are Bronze, Milk and Dilla.
JD sparked alot of MC's up there and they all can't rap. Not saying Elzhi can rhyme, but he won't spark you with anything original. Even Black Milks beats get repetitive with that flow rhyming on them.
