Customer Rating: Summary: George is King, long live the King Comment: George Jones is country music. This CD is George at his best. The duet with his daughter (and Tammy Wynette's daughter) is amazing. Her voice is much like her mother's and when she and George sing together it's magic. She is a great talent. And the rest of the duets are great with great artists. If your a George Jones fan, this Cd is a must. I saw him live just a few years ago in a small venue in Spokane, WA, and his voice is was "smooth as whiskey" and true to the songs that we all love. I love many of today's country artists, but some of their songs sound so generic, no originality and soul. I know there are writers out there with songs that should be heard through these amazing voices, but I'm not hearing many of those. I love a wide variety of music from hard rock to classic country, the old crooners like Dean Martin to the fun music of Britany Spears. Good music is good music in any genre. Country will always be at the top of my list. "I always get lucky" with George!! So a new release from George, who knows a good country song, is a joy to hear.
Customer Rating: Summary: Classics with a twist. Comment: Great classic Jones duets with a wide variety of artists. Excellent updating of some great old songs. You can tell by the cover it will have kick and it does not let you down. Songs you know, by people you know with a kick.
Customer Rating: Summary: never received the product. DHL says they delivered but didnt get it. I'm very bummed. Comment: never received the product - DHL said they delivered, we were home all day and never received it. I am bummed out about it - since I paid for the product and extra for next day delivery. SS
Customer Rating: Summary: Burn Your Playhouse Down Comment: I would like to say that this CD is wonderful. I absolutely love Mark Chesnutt, and the song that he sang as a duet with George Jones, WHEN THE GRASS GROWS OVER ME. I had heard at the last Mark Chesnutt concert that we attended this summer. Their voices blended so well. I thought that the song he sang with his daughter Georgette was great, she sounds so much like her mom, Tammy Wynette. There was not one bad song on the CD. I truely enjoy listening to all of the music on the CD.

Customer Rating: Summary: Possum and his posse Comment: Some great tunes and interesting duets. Besides great listening, this has significant historical value. The opening duet with his daughter, the title cut with Keith Richards, the unreleased track with Tammy: very fine. Unfortunate he never sang with Keith Whitley, but this is a treasure of some great duets he has done.
