After seeing horses panic and get hurt when tied solid, horse trainer, Ted Blocker, invented the Blocker Tie Ring. This is a safer more humane method of tying horses and can be used in wash racks, tack areas, trailors, picket lines or just anywhere a horse needs to be tied. While allowing some pull-through of the horse's lead, the degree of hold can be regulated by one of several tying options from as little as a few pounds or as much as a few hundred pounds, depending on the horse or the situation. When the horse pulls hard enough , he can pull some slack in the lead rope which releases pressure and the source of pain and panic. This reduces the threat to the horse dramatically as well as allowing the horse to pull himself enough line to get up if he falls down. Comes complete with the Tie Ring, Shackle, Eye Bolt and Instructions.
