I purchased it for my 21 month old grandson and he loves it. It gives him freedom of movement and allows him to learn how his body will naturally react in the water. It allows my 22 month old to float upright, and gives him the control for floating on his stomach or in a treading water position and also allows him to kick and swim. None of the other vest type products allowed this upright and natural floating - he can float on his own with me nearby. I also think that it is giving him excellent confidence in the water as well. Customer Rating: Summary: Great for toddler learning to swim! Comment: I got this for my toddler who just turned two years old. He is 30lbs and at the lower end of the weight range for this. I've tried several other items and this is PERFECT for pool use. Every time he used it he became more confident in the water and now is comfortable swimming around.
