With a little legwork you can achieve the same functionality as a DVD drive at a fraction of the space and cost. With this little gem I was able to change the OS on my EEE while waiting to get my tires rotated! I have not had any problems with this item and I would highly recommend it! The only drawback is that it is so small- it is easy to misplace. Don't put any sensitive data on it! I leave mine at home and only take it out when I need it.
