I purchased and received the earring tree that matches this item. It was a gift, but looks great. It was not top heavy at all. I saw this and I liked that it held up to 13 necklaces. It didn't seem too tall and I figured it'd be fine. Well, when it came I pulled it out of the box and the width of it was HUGE. It looks like a giant harp. The center part with the necklaces looks great, but there is at least 3 extra inches on the sides between the necklaces and the sides of the harp, not to mention the pointless swirly things at the top that make it look worse. It takes up a lot of space with the dimensions at the widest on the bottom at about 10 and a quarter and height is about 13 with the swirly things...just so you know.
