A guy never knows when he may need a nice piece of stainless steel to jimmy a lock or something. I put them on an old key ring to keep them from getting lost. They work great in the collar BUT if I remove my shirt they have a tendency to fall out.. I consider this a big problem because sometimes I don't hear them fall. I'm searching for some kind of a very small plain pin and clasp to keep them in the collar using the hole in the end. Lots of them have annoying little plastic collar stays that I tend to forget, send through the laundry, and either lose or have warped so that they make the collar worse than nothing at all. These little stainless collar stays seem to do the trick (wearing a set as I type this review) and I would have bought more if they were a bit cheaper. Solid product.
