It is great the way this approach teaches like a person learning a first language--getting familiar with how things sound rather than cumbersome rules (and Latin has plenty). Think Latin is a "dead" language? It is alive in all the Romance languages and in English. In addition to helping understand grammatical structure, this is going to help my daughter on her SATs as well as learning additional languages.
