I then bought FileMaker 8.5 Advanced on eBay. I am completely satisfied with 8.5. I will upgrade when FileMaker changes their activation policy. BTW I have owned FileMaker versions 2 through 7. Comment: I have been a Filemaker user for over 10 years now and I am yet to find a program that even comes close to Filemaker Pro 9 Advanced for ease of use and available features. The features of the developer package, data tracker and script debugging were a big help. The tooltip added a touch of sophistication to my overlay application that impressed the users. I faced a lot of challenges and many times thought FileMaker just wasn't capable of doing what I wanted to do. However, in most cases, I was able to find a way to accomplish my goals.
