Customer Rating: Summary: Actually, I have a question... Comment: Does this version of the game allow a player to make counter offers to proposed trades? I remember that an old Playstation version allowed counter-offers with computer players, and it made for a more realistic game. The version I currently have is pretty much a "take it or leave it" feature as to trades with computer players. Of course, you can always initiate another trade when it's your turn, but being able to barter back and forth is more realistic.
Customer Rating: Summary: Love this version Comment: If you are a fan of the classic version, you will love this game. The price from Amazon was a real bargain.
Customer Rating: Summary: Illogical computer players Comment: Everything is great about this game until you start 'trading' with your computer opponents. That's when you start making offers to buy or swap properties. There are three computer skill levels, but none of them make the slightest bit of sense. Sometimes you offer a tiny amount of cash for a key property, and amazingly the computer accepts, although most of the time it is the impossibility of getting them to accept your offers that frustrates. By way of experiment, I have offered every one of my properties and all my money to computers opponents in exchange for their Get out of Jail free card, and they still refuse to accept my offer! Clever property trading is the whole key to being a skilful Monopoly player, otherwise its almost all pure luck, and the total lack of logic to the way the computer players trade ruins what would otherwise be a brilliant game.
Customer Rating: Summary: Fun for anyone. Comment: This game shows rules of the game that many people might of never knew about.Selling a house can win you the game later on.I might get bored with it in a year but I still like it.Good buy.
Customer Rating: Summary: Monopoly 2008 Comment: I like this version better than the orginal version of Monopoly because it makes it more reallistic. It is more like 3-D and with the added items like the police paddy wagon you think that peace is going to jail compared to just jumping across the board. Free Parking you get the money when in the orginal you didn't get it.
