My very talented husband build a swingset for our 1 year-old son - he absolutely loves this swing! It's a little big for him, but he'll probably get another couple of summers out of it, so he'll grow into it.
I would not recommend this for a child who cannot yet bring himself into a sitting position, as it does not offer the support of a traditional infant seat. They are coated all the way up the chain. The chain is super long and adjustable so it could fit any swing set. I was very pleased with the shipping time and the quality.
