Customer Rating: Summary: Not as good as I expected Comment: I bought two BlueAnt Supertooth Light Bluetooth Handsfree Speakerphone. Although the sound quality is pretty good, I find that there is sometimes an echoing when I speak. Also, I have also experienced some cutting out when someone else speaks over me or vice versa. I do like the convenience of moving the item to different locations in the car with the magnets.
One of the units I purchased would not shut off and am having to replace it. Other than that, the unit is good and prefer the ability to have it on the windshield vizer rather than my ear.
Customer Rating: Summary: Constant Problem With Microphone Comment: As others have said, I have had constant problems with the microphone not holding when pushed back in. The first time it would not click back into place, by around the 30th time it went in. The second time, it took about 10 attempts. This third and last time, I have not been able to get it back in and I have tried for two months. I now just leave it out, but have to keep it constantly charged in my car. Really annoying!
Also the viser clip is too small for my car.
Customer Rating: Summary: BlueAnt Supertooth is awesome!! Comment: The BlueAnt Supertooth is totally awesome. I bought both the BlueAnt and the Parrot MiniKit. I have to say without a doubt that I love the BlueAnt more. For starters once your phone is initially sync'd all you have to do to connect it to your phone from that point on is just turn on ole Blue. And with the push button mic on switch, there's no need to hold the button for a few seconds. Nope, you just press the mic release button, which is spring loaded, and when the mic comes out the devices simultaneously turns itself on and syncs with your phone. Even if you are already talking on the phone. Then lets say you are blabbing away in your car on the BlueAnt and you get to your destination and you need to get out, just pick up your cell phone then press the mic back into the BlueAnt to turn it off and your on your way. The sound is clear, it blocks out wind noise and background noise. The volume is easy to adjust by pressing a simple + or - sign. The BlueAnt is held in place on your visor with a clip. It has a set of magnets on the back of it that hold it to the metal clip, and you have to do something in the realm of a Duke's of Hazard jump to get that thing to come off. The only thing that I wish I could change about it is that you have to mount it to the left of you visor because the mic comes out to the right. So if you are a passenger you can't have this thing mounted to the right of the visor or the mic will stick out onto the 'A' pillar. But then again if you are the passenger you can just pick up the phone and not worry about it. But you get my drift. If the newer models have addressed this feature I would recommend getting one, but if not, trust me, you won't be disappointed. Way to go Ole Blue!
Customer Rating: Summary: BlueAnt Supertooth Light Speakerphone Comment: Very easy to use & setup. Plenty of volume (much louder than Motorola), good sound on receiving end. One big design flaw... connect & disconnect buttons do not stay lit when driving at night! Leaves one fumbling for buttons in the dark! Doh!
Customer Rating: Summary: BlueAnt Supertooth Handsfree speaker phone Comment: The product Works as advertised, However it's kind of hard to hear with your windows rolled down on the freeway. But that is expected. Otherwise it works and sounds well.
