Customer Rating: Summary: Good stuff Comment: Let me start by saying I never would have pictured myself as one who could ever stomach a health food bar. I operate according to the philosophy that if something doesn't taste pretty good then it's not worth eating...no matter how healthy it is. My parents picked up a box of think thin bars and convinced me, after many protestations on my part, to give one a try. I was really pleasantly surprised. The bars, in my opinion, have a good flavor. Although there's no sugar in them, they are sweet. I am not saying that they taste like a candy bar, but they seem to me to be just as good as the far less nutritionally valuable bars (e.g., cereal bars) you can buy at the grocery store. I eat one think thin bar a day as breakfast/lunch and they're great! They're filling, high in protein (this is especially good for vegetarians), low in carbs (good for keeping weight off), and high in essential vitamins. After introducing think thin bars into my diet my hunger is well satisfied and I feel healthier and more energetic thanks to the high protein and vitamin content. They're definitely worth trying! Customer Rating: Summary: Wish they tasted better Comment: They are good for skipping a meal. The ingredients are wholesome but the taste is not appealing. I have recently found the Larabar, also raw food, that tastes better, particularly if you like figs and the Honey Stinger which is delicious. Customer Rating: Summary: Yummy and no trans fats Comment: I love these ThinkThin bars. Sugar-free (but DON'T taste bad - they use sugar alcohols which taste like sugar but whose molecules are too large to be absorbed), gluten-free and high protein to carbs ratio. And no trans fat either. The first and only meal replacement bars I positively enjoy. Customer Rating: Summary: Tastes worse than other bars. Comment: I am always on the look out for good low carb protein bars. So I had to give the Think Thin bar a try. I probably won't give this one a second try. The taste was chalky and reminded me of the horrible tasting protein bars back before good low sugar sweetners were around. When other better tasting low carb bars are plentiful, I would not recommend getting this one. Customer Rating: Summary: Not bad Comment: As someone who watches her sugar, these are the best tasting low carb bars I have found. Brownie crunch is one of the better flavors as well. Great for on the go snacks or for when you are stuck (while traveling etc...) and the options are fast food etc...Also not full of too many additives like other bars; there is no partially hydrogenated oils, etc...
