The workmanship was poor and the color was way too dark to be described as oatmeal. The sizing was also off. I would probably order 2 sizes larger since I normally wear a 12 but couldn't even fit the 14. Customer Rating: Summary: Think Twice! Comment: I have ordered this dress for a formal dinner party, it is too dark and it does not fit well. The zipper gets stuck at the tie back and the under-lining was not cut at the same size as the overlay. It is pretty as a PICTURE but not in person! Customer Rating: Summary: A true disappointment Comment: In the picture this dress looks very pretty, and whatsmore, a LIGHT ivory. I ordered this dress straight off the site, and then saw the other bad review of it on here and became worried but still had hope that when it was delivered it would be okay. It IS brown. It's cut in a way that the front end is uneven with the back, and it doesnt seem that this is for a stylistic effect. It fit me; my measurements were exactly that of the size I ordered, but the bodice hung unattractively, the pleats added the appearance of bulk, and the zipper kept getting stuck as I tried to close it when I was not trying it on. I'm so sad about the way this whole thing turned out - I really need a nice dress for a cotillion I'm going to be attending in three weeks. Now I'm back at square one, but with a hideous, wrinkled dress to go through the dreary motions of returning by mail. Sigh.
