I can't tell the difference in sharpness or contrast comparing the new nikon 55-200 with my 13-70 nikon lens and my 80-400 nikon VR. Its light yet feels good and solid. The vibration reduction works like a dream. I can't wait to try this baby in the field. I just might call in sick and work and head for the mountains.
