Editorial Reviews: Since it is digital, DECT 6.0 technology provides long range, clear sound and helps deter eavesdropping as well as offering up to 17 hours of talk time and 7.5 days standby time. Multiple voice paths are used to enable the entire series to provide up to 3-way conferencing, this allows for multiple handsets to be used at the same time and up to 2 handsets can join into a conversation with one outside caller. They also provide for Intercom between handsets and Phonebook Sharing.In addition to advanced DECT technology, all models in the DECT 6.0 line include a base station-integrated digital answering machine with voice menu, digital handset speakerphones, handsets with a clock on the LCD with alarm function, three-line backlit LCD, and incoming call indicator lights.The model KX-TG1034S includes four handsets.

I particularly like that the phonebook can be shared between all the phones or not depending on how you set up each phone. I bought the phones primarily because of the extended talk time and longer range. I am totally happy with them. I have not been able to talk more than the phones. Customer Rating: Summary: Cordless Phone Comment: Had an AT&T cordless phone set for 3 years and the batteries gave out on all 4 phones. To replace the batteries would have been almost as much as the new phone set. Decided on this Panasonic phone as I can use rechargable AAA batteries which makes things a lot easier. This is a big plus. The phone is light and okay to use when cradling on your shoulder. It is much easier to do this if the belt clip is attached to the phone as it gives you more to hold on to. What I don't like is the lack of knowing how many phone messages that have been left and that the light goes off once you listen to the messages. That can cause problems if the messages are for someone else in the house and you forget to tell them. I find this to be a major drawback. What else is annoying is the ring tone choices. None are normal phone rings and the choices are really all rather obnoxious. Either they should give more choices or at least better choices. The phone is not as user friendly or straight forward as my last phone, but hope that with time, I will find it more tolerable. It isn't difficult to use at all, but not as user friendly.
