Customer Rating: Summary: So-So bottle top Comment: I bought two of these for two SIGG bottles I have. They do not thread on easily to either of the two bottles, although once on the seals are tight. Also, I will give props to the spout mechanism for ingenuity, but it doesn't produce a satisfying flow of water -- it takes far too long to get a mouthful of water. Also, as my wife pointed out, if you are wearing lipstick, the bottle top will be covered with it after just one sip. Customer Rating: Summary: This top leaks!! Comment: this top leaks! I'am not happy with it, it is not as good as the top that comes on the kids bottles. Also having to push it in with your mouth to get out the drink is wierd! My son is the one who uses it and it has to be put in a plastic bag to prevent leaking in his backpack. If it did not leak I would have given it more stars! It comes off too easily. One broke off and couldn't be re-attached.
The way you open the spout to drink takes some getting used to, it's definitely not the best top for child use. Even my husband would prefer the good old screw-on lid over having to align arrows and apply just enough pressure to get to the water inside... One has to be careful not to screw it too far in the wrong direction or it comes off altogether (which of course, is important for being able to clean the inside). Once the lid is closed it does not leak at all, which is a plus.
Overall, I'd prefer a better price for a somewhat awkward product to use. Customer Rating: Summary: I like it! Comment: A great top for a great water bottle. The flip top is great the drinking nozzle underneath locks and unlocks with a twist. Easy to drink out of, since it opens with the pressure of your lips. I forgot to lock it once and ended up with a puddle in my purse, but otherwise, no mishaps.
