Summary: Great Little Heater
Comment: This is a great product. I have now had it for about a month. It heats up right where you need it. (I would not recommend this heater for extremely large areas, as it is small, but it works great in my approx. 600 ft. living, dining and kitchen area.) It will heat up the space in less than 30 minutes-at 38 degree outside temp), has several temperature levels-60-85 degree F to choose from, and also osculates. It also has a 1,2,and 4 hour setting if you want it on for only short periods of time. I have used it in my bedroom with the door shut, 10 minutes tops for ultimate comfort!! Have not turned on electric heat so far and it is the end of November!!
The thing I like most, is that the outside of the heater(the casing) does not get hot. You can have it in one room, unplug and take to another, and the outside does not get hot or even warm-just the air vent.
It is also very stylish. I have had several people comment on how great it looks--they would have never known the purpose without explanation.
Had small children over for dinner the other night, and went without a hitch. Of course, don't leave small children alone in a room with it. It is supposed to turn of if knocked over, but has not been an issue.

Summary: odor
Comment: This heater looks great, has all the features you could want, and heats up a room fast. The only problem is the odor! Has anyone else noticed this odor? When I removed it from the box there was a powerful chemical odor. I ran it for about four hours to see if it would dissipate, but it didn't. Is this a common trait for ceramic heaters, or should I return it? It's not a burning odor.

Comment: I purchased this heater after much research for a decent heater that won't be the eye sore of the room. So far I am happy with this purchase. The heater settings are straightforward and simple. All located on top of the unit. Quiet for the most part, nothing more than a low hum while on high. You can set it by thermostat in 5 degree increments from 60-85 or have it run for 1,2,or 4 hour increments. Also it will oscillate at the touch of a button. I can't wait to use it this winter when temperatures really drop.

Summary: No Longevity
Comment: I bought one of these heaters because it was ceramic ( i've had the best luck with them) and looked nice (since it would be in my living room most of the time) It worked pretty well so i bought another. a year later the first one is dead and the second makes so much noise (rattles like a freight train) that i just end up turning it off! good for 1 winter if thats okay with you, i'm tired of looking for heaters! :P

Summary: This is the worst
Comment: Boy this sucks, I bought this heater from wal mart and came here to check if anyone else feels jipped. Even sitting right under the heater you hardly feel a thing and it outputs the same amount of cold air from the back as it does warm air from the front. Dont waste your money.
