Customer Rating: Summary: Excellent quality, great price, just a little bit stinky! Comment: I'm a complete yoga novice who just started classes and needed a mat. After reading many reviews, I decided to purchase this mat based on the number of happy customers and the low price. I liked the wide range of colors and the inexpensive mat bag offered by the same company. So far, I'm very satisfied with the quality, size, degree of stickiness, but my only small complaint is that the mat is very stinky. After unpacking it, I did hang it outside for a week, then I washed it with lavender liquid soap and rinsed it with a hose. When it dried, the smell seemed to be gone but when I unrolled it at my first class, that plasticy smell was back! So I'm not storing the mat rolled up in the bag now, hoping the stink will eventually go away. Others in my yoga class have commented how much they like my mat and asked where I bought it.
