This item makes it feel like there is a fist in the small of my back after a while. It is very uncomfortable. I've seen lumbar supports that look like a back of a chair (sort of rectangular in shape with gradual bulge). I believe that a shape like that would be more ideal for a comfortable ride. The other day my back was very stiff, and woke up the next morning with a very stiff and painfull back. My back even spazemed a little (but not enought to knock my out). After no medications and driving for 3 hours, my back was 90% improved, just by sitting with this pad against my lower back. It REALLY puts your back in the proper position for sitting. Amazing.
