Customer Rating: Summary: Always works! Comment: I've been using Smile's Prid for nearly 20 years, ever since I stumbled across a few cans of it on the shelf of a local drug store. The packaging looked like something from 1899, so of course I was intrigued. I used it on an infected bug bite overnight by putting some on the wound and covering it with a band-aid, and the next morning was pleased to discover it had worked like a charm. It's created for small boils and other wounds which have pus that needs to be drawn out; it's much safer to let the infection come out on its own with Prid than it is to squeeze the wound. Prid draws the stuff out within a few hours, never stings, and a single can lasts forever. The consistency and color is a little off-putting, but it works so well that appearance doesn't matter. Just make sure you follow directions, and use with a bandage so the Prid doesn't get on your clothes.
