Customer Rating: Summary: Perfect fit! Comment: Silicone shape what ever you want and it perfectly fit to the ears. I have no need to worry about it will fall out when I am swimming in the pool. The only imperfect part probably is as frequent as one use, the silicone will become more solid and dirtier. The sweet thing is there are two pairs in the case, so you can change when it total solid.
Customer Rating: Summary: Barely functional, choose another brand Comment: I do a lot of lap swimming and I used these plugs quite a bit until I found some better. These plugs are too big for my ears - covering more than just the ear opening so it was difficult to keep them in place. The silcone is not flexible enough to meet the complex contours of the outer ear, but the plugs are so big they need to do so. I have had these fall out during swimming more than once, and they do not float, so they just get lost in the pool. I think they are better than no ear plugs at all if you have sensitive ears (which I do), but I greatly prefer Putty Buddies (kids ear plugs) and no longer use Speedo.
Customer Rating: Summary: Buy real plugs, not hunks of silicone Comment: I'm the first to admit that I didn't read the description carefully. But these aren't earplugs. They're hunks of silicone that you can shove into your ear. You mold them to fit, you take them out and press them into a flatter shape so they fit into the plastic box.
Get earplugs instead.
Customer Rating: Summary: Bad delivery and customer support Comment: I ordered this item only to find out that Swim2000 does not have a good inventory tracking system and customer support. Swim2000 can run out of stock on you although the web site says they have the item in stock. When that happens, Swim2000 can ship you something else to substitute for this item without asking for your preference in terms of color and brand. After you contact their customer service (Sales support), you may be in bad luck to be put contact with a person named Bruno Diederichs. He will likely play his righteous tricks on you and refuse to be specific about their replacement or refund promise. The bottom line is, if you order this item from Swim2000, you run a risk of paying for something that you may not have prefered in terms of color brand. And Swim2000 also expects you to be at the short end of the stick in terms of shipping charges and timeline, although they were the one who made the mistakes in their inventory and shipping. So if you can find the same item somewhere else, although it may be a little more expensive, you may end up being a winner doing so. Because I can tell you that dealing with Swim2000 will not be pleasant when it comes to timeline of delivery, replacement, or refund.
