Comment: I absolutely love this flat iron. I have to agree with the majority of the reviewers here that this is the ultimate flat iron. I have not received mine yet, but my friend let me use her "chi" flat iron since I had forgotten mine. I was perfectly happy with my off brand that I had bought at a Sally Hansen store, also a ceramic flat iron. But after I used my friends chi, it looked like I had gone to the hairdresser and had done all the fancy work. I didn't even put any product in my hair!!!
I was not oblivious to the chi, my sister in law has had it for years, but I could not bring myself to spend the money, of course since she lives in another state I never really saw how easy it handled and great it worked!!! I don't understand some of the reviewers who say it doesn't get their hair perfectly straight, my sister in law is Part Puerto Rican and has really curly curly hair and very very thick and this is the absolutely only product that will straighten it and keep it "silky straight" at least it is her words. She has long hair and it only takes her 15 minutes to straighten it, without product as well.
Ok, well sorry for my lengthy rant but I am exstatic and can't wi to get my chi!!!

Comment: This straightner works really well. However, do not try using it in an outlet overseas. Although the directions warn against using it with a converter, I tried using it once while I was overseas over the summer, and it completely stopped working. I had to buy a new straigther. I bought this one again though, because it works so well.

Comment: I purchased from Ulta for $129.99 and it broke after 3 months. I'm purchasing my second one from Amazon at a lower price - hope this one does not break.
Besides that I loved the flat iron when it worked.

Summary: Straight hair at last!
Comment: After 55 years of battling my curly hair (frizzy is humid weather) I can now have straight hair! This is way easier to do than the iron and ironing board that I used in my teens. It stays straight for days if you don't get your hair wet. It heats up really fast and is easy to store.

Comment: I ordered this product because my stylist uses it. So far so good, it delivers amazing heat, so be careful. I was concerned with how light it felt, but it works really well.
