M-Audio's EX-P Expression Controller Pedal is a versatile, flexible way to control your digitalmusic. It works with any M-Audio MIDI controllers that have an expression pedal input; the built-in polarity switch insures compatibility with most other controllers and keyboards. Use the EX-P to control any assignable variable MIDI controller value including volume, modulation, panning, filter sweep and more. Durable molded construction with integral cable.

Customer Rating: Summary: Much needed Comment: I've been playing live gigs with my synthesizers for years. Since moving to soft synths and using USB keyboards, I somehow missed obtaining the pedals used to control volume and other aspects and had to do it all by hand (literally). During the last show, I used this product in my live stage performance, and I can tell you that it worked amazingly well, no distortion, easily placed, and did not slide around or (walk) as some foot controllers tend to do. Didn't need to nail this one down, it stayed in place throughout the entire show's run. I noticed that it also really felt "good". Not too much resistance pressure and "stayed" put on the setting with no perceivable drift.
Customer Rating: Summary: Feels like a toy, but does the job. Comment: For my purposes ( Digital Performer, Reason, Guitar Rig 3 ) this worked out fine. The potentiometer is smooth, and transmits a good range of values.
For gigging, I would buy something heavier - the plastic is pretty flimsy.
