My 9 year old son and 6 year old daughter have had a blast on it. Easy for them to use and we've had some fun on it too. While it is hard to find wholesome cd's all we need is to visit Christian Book Distributors or CBD.com But be sure to get cd+g for graphics or you will just be able to hear the music. Some cd's say karaoke but not cd+g. Graphics are good if you want to see the words. The Singing Machine sounds great! The screen is black and white and I wish it had a digital mode because it is blurry on our HD TV. But for the money this is still a great little system. It is sturdy and the microphone that comes with it is very high quality. It has a tape player so you can play or record tapes. It is also good for young singers to practice and helps shy ones to come out of their shells. We have 6 children and 4 of them LOVE it!! Amazon still has the best price!
