Superthrive is the original synthetic vitamin-hormone supplement. Beneficial for plants under stress. Superthrive is highly concentrated so you only have to use a drop per gallon. Directions for most purposes: For active development or resisting stress, use 1/4 teaspoon per gallon for watering. For extra soft, tender plants, or for constant, daily use, or simple healthy maintenance, use one or a few DROPS per GALLON watering (one fluid ounce per 500 gallons watering.) For bare-root soaking, soak roots about 15 minutes. Roses and tender plants: 1 1/2 teaspoonfuls per five gallons. Others: 2 tablespoons per five gallons. For reviving woody shrubs and trees, use 1 ounce per 5 gallons, once. Soak thirsty root area, deeply. Regular strength can be used later.

Summary: Oldie but Goodie
Comment: I must have used Superthrive for at least 20 years, and it is a wonderful product. If bare root plants have a few hour soak, they always thrive, and houseplants that look almost dead also come back quickly and well. The label says that a drop is enough---you need more. Use this with fertilizer, especially in the spring, to really give all plants, shrubs, and trees a boost. A little goes a long way. I used a pint in three or four years.

Summary: Bogus Hokus Pokus
Comment: I am a master gardener and have tried pretty much every additive, bio and synthetic supposed plant helper on the market. I have actually done controlled experiments with this product on 5 peppers (5 with 5 without) and found ABSOLUTELY NO difference with it. No difference at all! Im sure it has vitamins in it as it smells like one in the bottle but you can get better results with natural AZomite for a ton cheaper. Dont expect a jack in the beanstalk story because its not magic and its nothing special but a multi vitamin in a bottle. Its hokus pokus claims in my book. Just look at the label and see the circus and claims which are NOT proven or proof. Stick with good old fashioned compost and it will blow you away. FYI, the seller of this product Hydro Harrys is a great outlet with great products and selection. Its where I buy all of my hydroponic supplies and the ONLY reason I have given this 2 stars rather then 1. That has to count for somethin...

Summary: Amazing!!
Comment: I am a biologist and have been using Superthrive for three years now. Simply put: this product works and works in a variety of applications. I use it for transplants, seedlings, diseased/injured plants etc. I use it on herbs, flowers, vegetables, trees, house plants and water garden plants. It works so well that I even buy clearance plants that look half dead. Along with sea kelp superthrive not only saves the plant but has it generating new growth in seven to ten days. If you have ever wondered about that peculiar smell at greenhouses and why their plants look healthy open a bottle of superthrive and the mystery will be over...if this product doesn't give you a green thumb you may need to consider a different hobby :)
