Editorial Reviews:
Coquito nuts are baby coconuts, cultivated largely from Chilean palm trees. Coquitos are the size of a large marble and look like miniature coconuts with edible shell. You can eat the whole thing for a really luxurious snack or toss them into salads, pastas or fruit dishes.

Customer Rating: Summary: Neat, tasty, and I bet very high in fiber Comment: These are remarkable grape-sized nuts (or fruits) that look and taste almost exactly like coconuts. They have a little hollow center surrounded by white meat, and a soft brown shell, like the inside skin of a coconut. I like them a lot. But be prepared---they are very fibrous to chew up. If you eat several at once it can become like a mouthful of sawdust! Think nice, high-fiber, natural foods...probably very healthy...crunch up a few of these and you shouldn't need any Metamucil. Customer Rating: Summary: tiny miracles Comment: this is the best thing since.... it's just the best. They're little teeny tiny coconuts... already peeled... great snacks and just delicious! Melissa's is a great company! Thanks! Customer Rating: Summary: A great find! (if you like coconut) Comment: In this case, the product description is excellent. So it the product. Think coconuts the size of nutmeg that you eat shell and all. Medium sized children like them, adults like them, I've not tried them on teens and I would not give them to small children. If you want an uncommon snack, this is a great option.
