It is also the perfect length for the temporary connections you want to make when using the Flip. I'm sure this high quality and inexpensive USB cord would work for lots of other applications too. I suggest you get cables for your Flip to save the USB connection on the camcorder. The Flip is very awkward to connect to a desktop computer and puts a strain on the USB connection. The cables solve that problem. You can place the Flip camcorder in a safe position when transferring videos.
