Summary: This is NOT the UK publication of the same name.
Comment: Be forewarned. This is *not* the international Catholic Newspaper (published in the UK), which has a long history as a progressive publication for Catholics. Instead, its the weekly newspaper of the Brooklyn, NY diocese.
The one star has less to do with the publication and more to do with the mis-representation of the magazine. What has me a bit annoyed is the fact that the cover displayed by Amazon is clearly the UK publication.
The Brooklyn newsletter consists primarily of articles and ads of interest to Catholics in that local area, and if that is what you are searching for, you should be very satisfied.
-- Since posting this last year, I see they have updated the description of the item to make it clear that it is for the Brooklyn diocese (though the pic is still the UK publication). So, I've changed my review from one star to four, since its a pretty good publication (I didn't cancel my subscription, since that requires dealing with someone other than Amazon and calling some 800 number).
Well, I would have changed the rating to 4 stars. Apparently you can edit reviews, but not change the rating...
