Spotlight customer reviews: Customer Rating: Summary: Good for the money Comment: I am using this with an old turntable. the stereo is connected to the computer so I can transfer records (LP's) to my hard drive and later to CD's. the cartridge has a good midrange and bass. High frequencies are a bit overemphasized. Given the price, the sound is better than we have a right to expect. It is actually more cost-effective than a replacement stylus for your old cartridge, unless you played in the big leagues. Customer Rating: Summary: Shure M92E The Best Budget P-mount cartridge Available Comment: This is the second M92 I have owned, the first was in the late 80's for my Technics P-mount straight arm turntable. Having recently acquired a mint Technics similar to my first one. I new what Cartridge to buy the M92. The M92 has good all around sound and is not bass shy like some cartridges. The sound is full bodied excellent midrange and respectable high frequency response, remember this is a on average $30.00 cartridge. There are better cartridges out there but you would have to spend $80.00 or more to get better sound. I can recomend this product with no hesitation at all. Enjoy the music in those grooves.
