Comment: I always have many wasps. One year caught 1004 queens. I have to empty my traps at least once a week. I have 12 traps out. I live on a ranch and the water for the horses attract the pests and that where the traps come in. Excellent product.

Summary: Works fantastic for us
Comment: In years past, before setting these traps, our house was swarmed by hundreds, if not thousands, of wasps and yellow jackets. We had dozens of their nests on and around the house. It was horrible. We could hardly hang out on the deck outside at all. And we, and our dogs, were stung when inadvertently getting near one of their nests.
When I put three of these traps up in the EARLY spring, so as to hopefully catch the queens before nests were created, we caught hundreds of them in these traps. We get an occasional wasp now, but that's fine. We are not swarmed and as far as I can tell there are no nests.
The first year we used these, last year, we put them up in the middle of the summer. We caught a lot even that way, but it worked MUCH better setting them up in the EARLY spring, like March.
Thanks to these babies we can spend time on our deck again. I only wish there were a way to deal with this problem without killing. I don't kill lightly, but this problem was too horrible and something had to be done. The only other solution I could think of was to move! And that is not realistic.

Summary: Didn't work as advertised
Comment: I was up for 14 days and trapped 1 yellowjacket despite there being quite a few around bothering the hummingbirds. The original liquid attractant that came with the original trap caught about 20 over the course of 4 days.

Summary: Nothing, and I mean nothing
Comment: Got yellow jackets flying all over the place but not one has the least bit of interest for this trap... waste of time and money.

Summary: Long lasting version hard to find locally
Comment: This 10-week version consistently works better and longer than five each 2-week versions that come with most traps. It is also much easier to handle.
