I use it for my bug zappers - I only wanted to run them in the evening and didn't want to have to rememember to turn them on and off every day. Within five minutes of receiving these timers, I had them set up. Sure enough, they turned on at 6:00pm and were off when I got up the next morning. They're worked reliably ever since. Very easy installation, operation and has been quite dependable. The cord could be longer, of course, but nothing a good 15 amp extension cord couldn't fix. I highly recommend it.
