"India is a union of States......a sovereign socialist secular democratic republic..."

These lines in the Preamble of the Indian Constitution (The longest Constitution in the world) sound a cliche' in present day India.

Maharashtra (the maratha kingdom of the pre British rule ) is the live example of how regional politicians like Mr. Raj Thackrey are willing to enlighten the maratha population to fight for their rights and kick out the north indians who are probably like the intruders in their native territory. According to these so called patriots of the Maratha Culture the North Indians have come and settled in Maharashtra in large numbers and as a result the employment opportunities for the Marathis have gone down.

His political activists (who claim themselves to be the protectors of Maratha Culture) assault poor auto-rickshaw drivers, labourers and students who are fighting for their survival in Mumbai and somehow making their ends meet.

May I ask these patriots why they never get a chance to see the Bungalows of Rich North Indians like the Kapoor Family, The Ambans, The Khans……who indeed are non marathis.

Why is it always some poor driver or those lower middle class students who were waiting to take the Railways entrance Exam?

Marathas & Shivaji

The 21st Century patriots in Maharashtra claim to be the followers of Chatrapati Shivaji. I would like to inform these great men that their respected Shivaji was coronated and given the title of Chhatrapati by the priests of North India after he was Outcaste in 1674AD.

And the best part of the Story is – neither the Government nor the Party in the Opposition has courage to put these separatists behind bars. The Central Government & the Honorable President of India (who hails from Maharashtra) is also watching it with a smiling face as they are busy with other significant & official matters.

In November 2008, "Deshdrohi" - a movie that reveals the true character of these separatist politicians will be screened. Let us wait and see posters and effigies of the Director and Producer of the movie will soon be burnt on the roads of Mumbai because he has dared to reveal the truth.

 

I hope this movie of few hours will be successful in doing what……….the great leaders of the Largest Democracy in the World failed to do. Bye the way which state did Mahatma Gandhi, Chandrashekhar Azad, Bhagat Singh, Pt. Nehru and Sardar Patel belong.

I woke up and found the Mahatma Gandhi was out of the Indian Currency Note because he is NOT a Maharashtriyan localite…….
